Yaremche in the distance a 27
km is village
of Tatariv. The name of
village reminds about a large attack Tatars on a village. To it village the
little name of Prutec' and Belzec'. After the destructive attacking of Tatars
village in 1673 years got the nowaday name. In a soviet period a village had
the name Flint
on behalf of soviet lieutenant, which perished here in 1944 years. The old name
of Tatariv is returned only in 1992 years. |
Mikulichin - one of most
in Ukraine villages by a slowness a 44 km, and also the oldest settlements about
which it is mentioned documentarily in 1412 years. There is legend about the
name of village: once in mountains with the army there was boyarin Mikula, which guarded a settlement
from attacks. Just a hostile army surrounded a mountain on which Mikula was and
began an attack. Mikula deservingly entered into a fight, however, there were
considerably anymore opponents and boyarin with a song heroically lay down in a fight. In
honour he was named this settlement. |
Yablunicya - a
mountain-skier resort is known. Within the limits of village there is one of
main mountain passes of Ukrainian Carpathians - Yabluneckiy. A settlement is in

from Yaremche. |

the river of Paradzhin,

of Yablunicya. |
«Bukovel'» - known and a
mountain-skier resort in Ukraine, located near-by the village of Polyanicya, is
