Sport complexes

The Children’s and Youth’s Sport Society is functioning in Yaremche city ,where 496 students go in for such kinds of sport as ski racing, sporting orientation, mountain-skiing, football, free fight. All of educational-training work is conducted in the regional secondary schools. The pupils of this society take part in regional and Ukrainian competitions and they are the members of combined team of the district.     

217 students from Vorokhta’s CYSS go in for such kinds of sport as springboard sky-jumping and double-event skiing. On balance of this school There are two springboards K - 15 m. and  K - 30 m there. Other sport establishments are rented. Vorokhta’s CYSS during three last years wins the first place among the sport schools of the district.

    29 sport grounds are functioning on the territory of city government: for playing volley-ball, mini football, basket-ball, tennis courts, two grounds with artificial coverage, and two football grounds in Mikulichin and Yaremche .

    There are some sport-training complexes in this area.

NSB “Avangard” - springboards K- 50, L - 70 and K - 90 meters with porcelain coverage,  rope-seated hoist and sport hall (Vorokhta, for 125 persons).All the regional and international competitions in sky-jumping and double-event skiing take place there.

   NSB” Ukraine” – rope-seated hoist 2km long, ski lodge “ Pyatukhatki”,  sport ground, sauna. Ski racing and sport orientation competitions are conducted there.

    NSB ”Zaroslyak” for 100 persons is located at the foot of Goverla mountain in Vorokhta. Springboards for freestyle, sport hall, sauna, sport ground is there. The location of this complex enables to conduct regional, Ukrainian, and international competitions.

     Vorokhta is famous of the sport club “Free Fight” the sportsmen of which take part in the national competitions, where they win the first places.

 The national and international competitions in water slalom, which are conducted in Yaremche on the river Prut are very popular.

     Tourist groups and sections are functioning in Yaremche, the sportsmen of which take part in regional and national competitions. Championship of Ukraine in the technique of ski tourism took place this year in Yablunytsa, where the sportsmen of Yaremche won the first place.
